What is it that I do...
Sarah is a speech-language pathologist for Sutter County Superintendent of Schools in Northern California. She works primarily with PreK and middle schoolers with moderate to severe disabilities within Sutter County.
Why do I do it...
Sarah loves the field of AAC & speech-language pathology, because she knows she can make a purposeful, lasting impact with a child and their family.
How do I spend my free time...
Between blowing bubbles, modeling core words, and traveling the world virtually with her social groups, she spends her free time working with the We Speak team. Sarah is creative and loves working with others to develop new resources and activities for educators and communicators of various ages. When she isn’t doing speech-related activities, Sarah spends the rest of her free time doing calligraphy and playing volleyball in the city CoEd league.
Why should you get in contact with me/how can I help you...
Sarah is a great resource for strategizing simple language-eliciting techniques and providing opportunities for language exposure in the home setting. Sarah is also well-versed in aided language stimulation and core word modeling. She loves to discuss these topics with fellow educators.
