What is it that I do...
I'm a speech-language pathologist (CCC-SLP) and consultant with over 19 years of experience, specializing in disability entrepreneurship. Through the Exceptional Leaders Network™ (ELN), I empower disability advocates and entrepreneurs to transform their passion into sustainable businesses. I create accessible content through my podcast (175+ episodes), Becoming an Exceptional Leaders series of curated stories (used in universities like USC and Purdue), and monthly Leadership Power Chats. I provide consulting services in branding, inclusive marketing, and UI/UX feedback, helping bridge the gap between disability advocacy and entrepreneurial success.
Why do I do it...
After 30+ years of entrepreneurial experience and multiple successful company exits, I recognized a critical need in the disability community– the need for professional support, resources, and community for those wanting to make a larger impact through entrepreneurship. I'm passionate about creating generous support and accountability in the disability entrepreneurship space, ensuring that innovative ideas in accessibility and equity can thrive and reach their full potential.
How do I spend my free time...
I prioritize a balanced lifestyle through meditation and quality family time. My energy management includes staying well-hydrated and maintaining strong connections with my loved ones. These daily habits help me maintain the enthusiasm and passion I bring to my work while ensuring I can consistently show up for my community.
Why should you get in contact with me/how can I help you...
Whether you're a therapist, disability advocate, or aspiring entrepreneur in the disability space, I can help you navigate your journey from idea to impact. Through ELN's comprehensive resources, expert Q&A sessions, and our vibrant community, I provide the support system you need to succeed, offering guidance on everything from marketing strategies to work-life balance. My approach combines practical business expertise with a deep understanding of disability advocacy, ensuring your venture remains both impactful AND profitable because– an empty cup has nothing to give.
